The Jakarta International Premium Product Fair 2025 (JIPremium) is currently taking place at the Jakarta International Convention Centre (JICC), Kemayoran, from September 11–14, 2025. Carrying the theme “One Stop Sourcing for Premium, Beauty & Wellness Products”, this international exhibition serves as a hub connecting global producers, innovators, distributors, and consumers.
This year, JIPremium showcases a wide range of premium products across multiple categories, including Home & Art, Beauty & Fashion, Mom & Kids, Food & Beverage, Coffee & Dessert. The exhibition also features a business matching program, designed to connect international buyers with local partners and expand business opportunities across Asia.
More than 360 companies are participating, presenting their latest premium innovations to thousands of visitors. Exciting activities such as live make-up shows, fashion shows, and cooking demonstrations further add to the dynamic atmosphere of the event.






BPOM Highlights Safety, Quality, and Sustainability
In his opening remarks, BPOM Head Taruna Ikrar emphasized that JIPremium is more than just a trade fair — it represents a shared commitment to shape the future of premium products that are safe, effective, and sustainable.
“Innovation must always go hand in hand with accountability. Companies must ensure that product claims are scientifically proven, adopt sustainable manufacturing practices, and uphold consumer trust through transparency, quality, and ethical marketing,” Taruna said.
He also underlined the growing demand for premium and high-quality products in a rapidly evolving market, particularly in biotechnology, personalized wellness, clean beauty, eco-friendly solutions, and innovative packaging.

Strengthening Regulatory Oversight
BPOM has taken several strategic steps to protect consumers and support industry growth, including:
- Enhancing regulatory frameworks to ensure compliance with strict safety standards.
- Expanding digital supervision with 2D barcodes, e-labeling, and real-time monitoring systems to guarantee product authenticity.
- Promoting regulatory convergence with ASEAN, WHO, and other international authorities to harmonize standards and ease market access.
BPOM also continues to encourage sustainability and inclusivity, supporting eco-friendly practices, responsible advertising, and halal certification so that premium products are not only competitive but also ethical and inclusive.
Strong Global Collaboration

The event was attended by Lee Sang-deok, South Korea’s Ambassador to Indonesia, along with delegates from Gyeongsangnam-do Province and representatives of the South Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Their participation highlights the importance of international cooperation in strengthening the premium consumer goods sector in Asia.
Concluding his speech, Taruna expressed appreciation to all organizers, sponsors, and international partners for their dedication and collaboration. He hopes that JIPremium 2025 will serve as a meaningful platform to drive innovation, collaboration, and sustainability across the premium beauty, wellness, and consumer goods industries.
